Famed marital arts director Yuen Woo Ping takes the audience on another fight fueled, kung fu thriller based on the tales of classic folk hero, Wong Fei Hung.
Trying to evade police, a notorious killer 'White Tiger' (Yuen Shun Yi) joins a small town opera troop and goes into hiding. Also living in the town is a timid and cowardly laundry man Mousy (Yuen Biao), who inadvertently angers 'White Tiger' on several occasions. Given Mousy's nature, his only option is to run away and hide to avoid being hurt. His best friend Foon (Leung Ka Yan) decides that the only way for Mousy to conquer his timidity is to learn kung fu from the legendary master Wong Fei Hung (Kwan Tak Hing). Slowly becoming a proficient martial artist, Mousy must soon pit his unique brand of kung fu against the vicious criminal threatening him.
